A wee gem of a book

Days by sea, loch and river by Muriel Foster is an absolute wee gem of a book that I was blissfully unaware of until it was highlighted and brought to my attention by  @Scottishflyfisher on his excellent YT Channel.
It's a welcome addition to my ever expanding angling library.
I was particularly interested in it for much the same reason as @scottishflyfisher as  Ive fished a few of the hill lochs in the Dundonnell as referenced in this book a few times with friends and it's interesting to read the entries in the diary from the lochs around there from a century ago.
In many ways, Days by Sea, Loch and River is more than a fishing book—it is a window into a slower, more attentive way of being outdoors, where the act of recording a day by the water was as meaningful as the catch itself.
